Knitting & Crochet Class FAQs
What supplies do I need for my lesson?
1
Students are required to use yarn purchased from Emily Laine Yarn Shop for all lessons, unless supplies are included in the class fee. We are happy to help you select the right yarn and supplies for your project.
Do students receive a discount on yarn and supplies?
2
Yes! Students receive 15% off yarn and supplies purchased for their class. It's a great opportunity to choose something special for your project.
Can you fix a knitting or crochet project I started somewhere else?
3
We do not repair or fix projects that were not started as part of a lesson at Emily Laine Yarn Shop. Our classes are designed to teach skills and build confidence rather than provide project repair services.
Can I schedule a lesson to troubleshoot a project?
4
Absolutely! You may schedule a troubleshooting session to review a knitting or crochet issue. During the lesson, we will assess the problem, explain what may have gone wrong, and provide guidance on how you can correct it yourself. Please note that troubleshooting lessons are instructional and do not include repairing or completing the project for you.
Our goal is to help you become a more confident, independent knitter or crocheter. We want you to understand your projects, learn how to identify common mistakes, and develop the skills to troubleshoot and fix issues on your own.
What is the goal of a troubleshooting lesson?
5
Intermediate and advanced classes follow predetermined patterns selected to teach specific techniques and skills. These patterns allow our instructors to provide focused instruction and ensure that students have a consistent learning experience.
Can I choose my own pattern for an intermediate or advanced class?
